The technician did a good job of changing oil, filter, rotate tires, safety inspection and car wash. Unfortunately however the service took about 3.5 hours. I had an appointment at 1 pm and even arrived early. When I checked in I was told that it would take about 2 hours. Even that seems excessive when I can get oil changed in less than an hour at other places. I was told after getting the service that they were short two technicians. I will consider other options for simple service in the future or certainly not on a Friday afternoon.

Calling to set up an appointment took 3 tries through the receptionist to get through. I told them everything I needed done. When I dropped my car off I had to tell them again. They sent me a text to track the progress of my truck, but it was not updated for 8 days. I called once sent an email and called again before someone told me I would get a call. 3 days later I was told my Truck would be done that day. Clearly, the service department’s under staffed.

I really liked the salesman. Cole was a pleasant young man who seemed honest and was genuinely appreciative of the sale and did follow up on a few things. He would get five stars if I could do that. My issue is with the management. As part of our negotiations I was to receive a $500 rebate for my service as a Peace Officer. At the time we agreed to the price I did not have my credentials with me as I didn't know about the rebate. I told them I can go get my credentials and return or come back tomorrow when I pick up the truck as it has to be detailed. The finance manager and the salesman said just come back tomorrow. I returned the next day with the credentials necessary and they took care of all the necessary details over the computer by signing me up. They told me I was good to go. I was told this by the finance manager. Well I got home and forgot to ask about how I receive the rebate before I drove the truck home. I emailed the salesman. He got back to me later and said he was told we did not qualify anymore because we had to complete everything at the time of the deals closure. I feel I was taken advantage of. I did everything I was asked. The process took couple hours to complete which was a complete waste of time. I am not happy and will likely service my truck elsewhere. As a retired peace officer I felt disrespected.

I made the appointment for service the week before I dropped off my truck. The drop off time was 10:00 for a warrantee seat motor install, tire rotation and oil change. Additionally there was a "drive assistance " fault on dash they said they would correct. It was estimated that I would get my truck back mid day the following day "at the latest". Mid day the next day I was informed that my truck was still in the bay as they diagnosed trouble code on dash and none of the other work could be done until they fixed it. I was then told that I could get my truck the following day. After many un returned phone calls I was finnally told the techs would stay late and come in early to finish my truck. I was dropped off at the dealership at 8 am and finally left the dealer ship at 10:30 am. The service light is still on!

I asked several times to have the maintenance package removed but it magically appeared on the closing paperwork along with another thing I had previously declined. I was told that the dealership “bought” down an interest rate from a bank, but they never provided the details of the “ buy down”. Switching the financing at the last minute from GM to a bank felt fishy. What was the interest rate quoted by the bank? How much did the dealership pay to buy “ buy down” the rate. Did the dealership get paid any points on the deal from the bank? I was told the maintenance was added to offset the buy down, but without the details who knows if I was actually getting a good deal or ripped off. Sales Manager told me that he’d reach out to answer my questions and give the details but there was never any follow through. I won’t buy another car from Michael Hohl

Check in was easy, very little wait time to get assistance. Individual explained the service and told me how long it would take. My brand new 25 gmc sierra is making a squeaking noise. Apparently two techs couldn’t replicate the noise, but when I picked up my truck leaving from the service parking lot my truck made the noise. The service rep shrugged it off and said it’s a transmission noise that is clearly coming from the driver rear wheel well. I’ll take it to Reno so they can look into it.

Great communication on what issues were explained and pricing explained I did find an issue under my dash with what appears are 2 electrical connections that are hanging down and not connected properly and not secure to vehicle I sent a text and picture of the connector hanging down and asked what we should do but never received an answer I will go to dealer and hopefully east fix they can do while I am there Service department has always done well for our vehicles

It was a pretty good experience. I loved that they brought the car out to me after I had waited two weeks for it to arrive. My salesman was super helpful. The only thing is that I wish I had paid attention to the fact that the car had manual seats on the driver's side and that the sunglass holder wasn't included, but I can always get those fixed later.

My vehicle was serviced, and a software update was installed. After picking up the vehicle the radio, navigation, phone connection was not working properly. Notified the Service Department of the issue the following morning and was informed I could bring the vehicle back the following week. After keeping the vehicle two (2) days, I was informed GM would not have a fix for the error caused by the software update until the end of June. The delay in scheduling the vehicle, explanation of the problem, and corrective actions are quite unacceptable.

1)The ENGINE LIGHT DUTY REPAIR : LOW COOLANT TEMP original diagnosis for $421 was inaccurate and actual repair was $2,783 which seems like a bait and switch service tactic. 2)Engine coolant problem was mid-diagnosed as water pump failure and was radiator failure. 3)Service representative never returned my calls. I had to drive to Michael Hohl Service department 3 times to get my questions answered concerning additional services required, my concern that a water pump may not be needed, and when vehicle service was completed. 4)The online vehicle service status was not accurate or kept up to related work performed. 5)There was no $200 cap referenced with the 15% coupon (special discount) provided in the estimate, and the 15% was not deducted from the quoted estimate. It was already included in the estimated price which was deceiving. I expect Michael Hohl Service to do better in the future.

Dropped off my vehicle June 9th. Picked it up June 16th. 2 problems recall and radio sound not working and turn signal sound not working. Wow now radio sound and turn signal not working. Worked for 5 days. My new Chevy sure has become a disappointment!!!! So now I have to return it to Chevy. I need a vehicle not to be in the shop. How will I get to work and back when the vehicle is in the shop again. I know it’s under warranty. Will you give me a loaner car? My truck has 9,600 miles on it. Thanks Steve 775-420-1301

I scheduled a appointment a month ahead of time so I was sure not to have to wait more then unnecessary. Showed up 20 minutes early and let them know I was waiting for my truck. They didn't pull it back for 45 minutes didn't think to much of it but after 2hrs of waiting I checked in and they said it was almost done and would be a few minutes then I got my truck an hour later. So unpleased , I will now be taking it to reno to have any service or work that needs to be done. I try to stay local and give business to my local business. But with service like this I can't do it!

I brought my 2016 Chevy Silverado 2500 hd in due to a DEFfluid leak. I’ve been told the DEF fill tube has a crack and needs to be replaced at a cost of $411. First off, I believe the the crack was probably caused by the mechanic who put in a brand new De tank and a brand new death tank pump however, I have no proof that the mechanic damaged it although it did not have a crack prior to having the new DEF tank installed. I was willing to absorb the cost, but was told by Mauricio that the part is discontinued and is no longer available at any GM dealerships across the nation. He was also able to do a search online for auto parts stores, but was unable to locate it since it was sold out at every store that stocked that part. I’m really not sure what to do. Although Mauricio did say I could look at the option of finding a used one at a junkyard. I really don’t understand how General Motors could discontinue parts on a nine year-old truck I would really like some help from GM administration in finding out how to resolve this problem. I am also going to try to get in contact with the GM corporate office to find out what my options are. I don’t have any complaints with Mauricio. He has been very kind and helpful. I do feel that Michael hole. GMC is responsible for the crack in the field tube. However, I was still willing to pay for it but now I told the part is not available. This is very frustrating and disappointing since this struck has been very well cared for by me and the original owner. It only has 90,000 miles. I just paid over $1000 to have a 90,000 mile service performed at Christensen automotive in Minden so I would like to keep the truck but not if the fill tube can’t be replaced.

Took my truck in for an oil change and had also asked the Service Advisor if they could check the lower hose that connects to the intercooler as there had been an excessive amount of oil coming from the hose connection to the intercooler. When I got home there was oil dripping from the same spot. So, I doubt anyone looked at it.

The sales experience was good. Sales person was very knowledgeable. The vehicle prep was not good. The car needed a major software upgrade that I had to come back for and that took 4 hours. Cars in inventory should be upgraded and the versions should be tracked so when a new upgrade is released they can be upgraded. The .car should be charged. Do you have a customer leave with a gasoline car with a almost tank? There was time during the paperwork process to hook it up to aa fast charger.

As always, the staff was great; they were kind and the waiting area is kept clean. I went in for my complimentary oil change and tire rotation, as this was my first service on my brand new car. My appointment was at 9am, I arrived around 8:50am. At 11:15am, I asked about the status and was told it was almost done. Finally, at 11:50am my oil change was done. I guess I just wish that they would let you know that this type of service would take this amount of time so you could plan your day accordingly. I ended up being late for a 12pm appointment I had made as I have never had an oil change take so long.

First, Austin the sales rep was great with good communication and showed a lot of focus on customer service. No issues there. My issues stem from two things. 1) I put in a request to order a new Yukon in Jan 2025. I heard nothing for months until I actually called the dealership in mid Jun. I was told they didn’t have an allocation yet (frustration building). I called back in July to talk with the guy I put the order in for only to find out he didn’t work there anymore and there is no known date to put an order in. This was beyond frustrating for sure, so I settled on buying one they had that was close to what I wanted but not exactly what I wanted (not good). So, this whole order process is clunky at best, takes way too long, and leaves the dealership and buyer in the dark. 2). The actual buying process seems broken. Even when I’m paying cash, I had to wait at the dealership for over 2 hours to get called into a room to do the paperwork signatures that actually only took 10 minutes. This delay seemed to be because they had one person trying to get paperwork signed for multiple people in line. GM and the whole dealership network can and should learn a lot from the Tesla approach to buying cars where all the paperwork is done online (even through an app) where buyers can complete it on their own time with no waiting. That way the next time I go to a dealership to buy a car the paperwork is already done and all I have to do is show my ID and drive away (~5mins). In summary, I waited way too long to get a vehicle that isn’t exactly what I wanted only to wait hours at a dealership to fill out paperwork that would have taken me 5 minutes do to at home. Overall, the people I worked with were great, but they seem to be working is a business model that isn’t changing with the times and will fall out of favor as other options provide a more time sensitive and less hassle experience.

But a 2.5 hour wait for an oil change and tire rotation with a scheduled 7AM appointment for which I arrived 15 minutes early, is annoying to say the least. You need to do a better job of scheduling work and appointments. If it's a personnel problem, perhaps Monday absenteeism or lack of staff, address it. My time is valuable too.

I had a 2 PM appointment to get my oil changed. I added having the fuel filter changed (diesel truck) and a tire plugged. This is around an hour of work for a competent mechanic. At 4:30 I finally got my truck back. When I asked why it took so long, I was told that is how they schedule the appointments. Another guy was there for an oil change and 4 tires. He was there before me and still there when I left. When someone schedules an appointment, the mechanic should be working on that vehicle until it is finished. Not jumping back and forth between vehicles.

I dropped my vehicle off on 07/17 at 8:30 AM for a recall head lamp and because the “service ESC” was causing my check engine light to come on. At 4 PM, I reached out to see if my vehicle needed to stay over night and was told everything was done on the vehicle and that it just needed to be checked by diagnostics. I was told that they would know more information in the morning. I called at 9:51 AM (2 times), and was unable to get in touch with anyone at the service department. I called at 10:15 AM (3 times), and was unable to get in touch with anyone in the service department. I called again at 11:30 AM ( 3 times), and was unable to get in touch with the service department. I left a voicemail with Haven. I called again for the fourth time and asked the secretary to have someone give me a call so I could get an update on my vehicle. I never recieved a phone call. At 12:37 PM (3 times), I tried calling and was unable to get in touch with anyone at the service department. At 1:15 PM, I tried calling and was unable to get in touch with anyone at the service department At 3:55 PM, I finally was able to get in touch with Mauricio. Mauricio informed me that my vehicle would be done in 30 minutes and that the tech was finishing up the diagnostic. Mauricio informed me that they could not figure out what was wrong with the wheel speed sensor but that hopefully disconnecting and reconnecting would fix the issue. Just after 5 PM, I showed up to GMC and was informed that my vehicle was still not done and that the tech was now working on the recall. I waited for another 25 minutes. Mauricio informed me that I did not have to pay the $225 for labor, but that I did owe $150. It was not until I got home that I realized that my vehicles oil was changed (supposedly) and that I had a tire rotation, totaling the $150. The notes stated that the tech reset my oil to “100%”. I was confused considering I had just had my oil changed on my own on 06/25/25 and the oil life said “91%” I took a photograph when I arrived home showing my oil was not at 100% so I’m not even confident an oil change was done. I also recently replaced all four tires in June and did not need nor request a wheel rotation. I never asked for this service and my vehicle did not need it. I tried to contact the service manager, Sarah, and left my name and number with the secretary. On 07/22, Sarah returned my call however I missed it. I called Sarah and left a voicemail. Since leaving GMC, my check engine light has came on three times and is currently still on for a “Service ESC” for the wheel speed sensor. I’ve called and left two additional voicemails for Sarah and still have not heard anything. I am extremely disappointed in the service at GMC. Not only did I pay for two services that were not requested and that I did not consent to, but my vehicle was gone for over 30 hours and the reason I took it for service was not fixed. I now have to find another place to take my vehicle to figure out what is going on with the check engine light. On top of that, I think it is extremely unprofessional that I was unable to get in touch with anyone on any sort of update on my vehicle for 24 hours.

Pretty much on time, 3hrs for tire rotate, oil change and software update. $130 for oil change is high. Truck came with tires 8K miles ago, rotate should have been free. Although the paperwork said they checked everything, washer fluid and engine air filter were not checked, tire pressures documented did not match the truck, and no truck wash.

We had a 915 appointment to get an oil change and when I showed up at 1:30 to pick up my vehicle, it had not even gone back to the garage yet. They gave me the reason that there was a glitch in the computer system and the message wasn’t sent. I have never had a positive experience with this service department. My son has had the same negative experiences and will probably not buy another Chevy because of the service department in Carson City Nevada.

I called to make an appointment approximately 1week in advance for an oil and transmission fluid change. I was quoted $1500 with a car wash and a ride to Reno. When I got there I confirmed the quote and I was told that they could only drive me to the junction of 431 and 580. I would have to take an Uber from there. When I returned to pick up the car the bill was $2018 and the car was not washed. I refused to pay the extra $518. The bill was adjusted but tax was added on for a total of $1580. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!

I've been a fan of Hohl and have purchased 2 vehicles from them and only service my vehicles with Hohl. Now with that being said I was taken back with the price of my 45K Major service as I was told it would be $2,799 but because I trusted Hohl I just said do it. But the cost did bug me, so I called around and got a price of $2,050 from Champion in Reno. So I did reach out to Meagan (who was very nice and helpful) via text to see if there were any coupons that can be applied like your competitor, unfortunately I never heard back. The service came in at $2,701.00 a little less than her quote but still much higher than Champion. I picked it up, paid the price and dropped off my wife's 2024 Yukon Denali for it's first oil change. We purchased this vehicle from Hohl about 4 months ago as it was the mangers demo with 3,400 miles on it. We were told the first oil change was free and I just assumed the service advisor would know this. When I picked up the Yukon we paid $160 for the oil change and rotation. So now I will think twice and call around. I think communication could be better and I must say the level of turnover with the service advisors is pretty crazy, there is always someone different every time I come in as I do bring these vehicles in every 5,000 miles. This could be one of the reasons that Hohl only has 2 1/2 stars. I'm giving 4 stars mostly for past experiences.

I’ve been bringing our Yukon to this dealership for service for the last 14 or so years. The customer service quality has declined in that time especially in the last couple of years. Nobody could give me a straight answer on how the coupon I received in the mail worked. Nobody ever came to me in the lobby for updates. Instead they went ahead and replaced parts I had not agreed to. The phone updates - the text messages where you can see your vehicle’s status - never once changed beyond the first stage. The lady finally came back with some sort of charges list that gave zero detail. She did not appear to be trained how to do her job. The man who seemed to be in charge was not nice. He even suggested retrieving old parts from the trash and put them back on my car. My last experience was not good, in fact it was rather poor. I’ve decided from now on I’ll be taking my vehicle to the Reno GMC dealership for service. And I’ll be happy to share my experience to anyone who cares to hear it. Thank you.

Wonderful performance this time. Lug nuts were tightened correctly at manufacturer’s recommended 140 ft/lbs this time. Last time I had my oil changed and tires rotated here, the lug nuts were tightened so hard I had to use a 4’ breaker bar to remove all 24 lug nuts. I left a note as I scheduled my appointment this time around and no over tightened lug nuts this time around.

The service tech, Mike Fefer, was able to complete not only a scheduled repair, but was able to order the part and repair an unexpected problem that same day. I am impressed! Also impressed with the removal of the residual glue where the trim strips had come off the sides of the pickup. The last two times I have had the pickup serviced it has been washed prior to being returned. A nice touch. This used to be a common courtesy years ago - nice to have it again. I scheduled my car for service and a cabin air filter and engine air filter replacement. When I arrived for the appointment, I informed the service writer that the engine air filter still had 60% left and I didn't need it replaced. It was replaced anyway, and when I saw it on the invoice, I mentioned it to the lady taking my money, she informed me that sometimes the indicators are "a little off". I was not really happy with that response.

Monday had a trans service oil change and tire rotate … I got charged for the oil I brought in… asked for full service transmission and got a fluid exchange was told that low of miles probably doesn’t need a filter… Friday came along and I had transmission fluid everywhere… had to get the truck towed to the dealer what a nightmare… Monday had my truck 8 hours the problem was loose pan bolts so the pan got dropped to get the rest of the fluid out but no filter change even though I wanted to pay for the service… super frustrating…

Ok I said, They ordered another Part,, Installed it, Called me and said your Truck is fixed, When I picked it up the price changed, to $1.735.00, Why the increase. Its not my Problem that the first part they installed did not work. This increase in cost should have been on the company that supplied the first part, Our you the dealer. I saw the Price to repair the Truck in advance. In my Mind the price should have not changed. And No Guarantee On the Part. WHOW. And yes publish. And Oh, Another thing The Oil Light Keeps flashing on and off. Never did that before. Was flashing when I drove my 2005 Canyon off the Lot. Michael Hohl Motor Co. Unaware of my service plan, tried to charge me for oil change and tire rotation, did not top off def, did not replace fuel filter. Would not allow me to utilize one of my twice yearly ceramic coatings in attempt to align with the seasons appropriately. on the 6 month schedule they’re imposing I would be stuck on a schedule of having it done in the middle of winter and middle of spring. For me I would like it done in fall and just before spring but they wouldn’t allow the switch so I’ll have to write off one ceramic coating to get it aligned the way I want it. Not happy with the service on this one

First of all, I would like to say that I do believe the repair was done right. I think the service department made sure that everything was in good working condition before returning the vehicle to us. With that being said, I was a bit disappointed in the lack of communication and the lack of effort to remedy the inconvenience caused by the loss of use of our vehicle. The day we dropped off the vehicle, we were told the repair was gonna take 1-2 weeks. We waited patiently, and at the 16-day mark, I finally made a phone call to get an update and was told a specific part(s) was on back order and they were not sure when it would come in. The following week, I made two more phone calls over two days and was promised to get a call back (and did not hear back). Over 3 weeks of the truck being in the shop, I finally insisted they give us a loaner or a rental vehicle only to be told they didn’t have one available/the vehicle would be done “tomorrow.” After it was, in fact, not done, they relented and gave us a loaner. Got the truck back after a month in the shop. We should’ve been offered a loaner the moment they said they didn’t know when the part(s) would come, or at least should’ve been accommodated with our request when we asked for one. Instead, we got the dodging and the “it will be done tomorrow” three times. Being transparent and honest, and setting realistic expectations are important. Would not have been half as frustrated had the communication been better.

Your service department on my previous experience with my 2024 Equinox was anything but satisfactory. My vehicle was returned to me with greasy hand prints on the passenger door outside and inside panels and the seat was miss-adjusted. The service manager said that was because the tech had to check the cabin air filter. I specifically instructed the service scheduler NOT to do the cabin air filter. But that did not explain the greasy hand prints! She cleaned them off. The display was left on the tire inflation readings, all of the tire valve stem caps were loose, I discovered that when I got home, one was missing. That reeks of shoddy workmanship and safety concerns. My last visit was on 9-12-2025 not 10-03-2025, for my 2025 Trailblazer where I requested that the techs do Not rotate tires, do not check cabin air filter, do not check engine air filter just do the oil change and engine oil filter. They complied this time.

On Friday, October 3, I was researching Chevrolet trucks on line. I located a 2025 Chevrolet Silverado and decided to take a look at it. My Wife and I drover to Micael Hohl to take a look, and were met by Todd Jones. Mr Jones pulled the vehicle out to the front of the dealership so I could see it and test drive it. Mr Jones was extremely knowledgeable, helpful, and professional. Due to a prior engagement, I had to leave. Prior to leaving, Mr Jones introduced me to Eddy Gutierrez, and advised me to contact him, when I returned. I returned that night and spoke with Mr Guiterrez. Mr Guiterrez then introduced me to Corey Dickerson, who would help me for the rest of the night. I looked again at the 2025 Chevrolet Silverado and noticed that it was missing some options that I would have liked to have on my truck. Mr Dickerson located another vehicle in the fleet, that was a similar truck but had the options I wanted. Mr Dickerson was a very easy going sales person, that knew a lot about the product he was selling. At this point we started to negotiate with Mr Gutierrez and eventually came to a price that we agreed to pay. This sales process was great, I never felt any pressure and was treated respectfully. We concluded our sale with the Finance Manager, Narciso Esparza. Mr Esparza explained all my financial questions and closed the deal if a very quick manner. This vehicle is definitely not my first purchase, nor will it probably be my last. However, in all my experiences I have never met a team that worked so well together. If I had a question, they were quick to answer it. It was the best vehicle purchase I have every been involved with. Todd, Eddy, Corey, and Narciso are the most knowledgeable group I have dealt with, and when I purchase my next vehicle, I will be back. The inspection was not completed until late on 10/14. It was at the dealer for a week, and no input from the dealer that it had even been looked at until Monday, 10/13. Why make an appt with someone and hold their car for such a long period. Make the appt for the day you can actually look at the car. Had to wait almost a month to get an appt. Appt made on 9/18. I think this should be managed better.

This time having my car serviced was not a great experience. Schedule my Yukon to have rotors and brakes replaced with a routine check up such as oil change, tires rotated etc. my car had a 9:45 am drop off time and didn’t hear back from anyone at all on how the service went or if the vehicle was close to done. I called at least 5 times, left messages and kept being passed around without an answer. In the end, I asked once I arrived back at service department around 4-4pm, asked if my car was finished, no answer. Once I saw my car pulled to the bay, I went to an advisor and asked if it was done, they shared that the wrong brake pads were ordered so my car did not get those done. In the end, spent time waiting around, my car did not get done what was scheduled to get done and the communication was horrible.

Unfortunately we will try to use the Chevy closer to home, rather then Carson from here on out. She was there 2.5 hours with our 2 year old grandson, no one said a thing to her, no one was nice or helpful to her whatsoever. Very unpleasant place to be for 2.5 hours for an oil change and tore rotation.

My service advisor was extremely nice and was good about calling me however I came to pick my car up after service and my check engine light was on when it wasn’t on before so my car had to stay, this is after having my car for 2 weeks on things that should really only take a day. They then proceeded to change a battery in my car without my consent and when they tried to charge me 450 for it I told them no and instead of comping me the battery they kept my car for another day to remove the new battery and replace the old… all in all I won’t return to Michael hohl for any further needs or purchases I will drive to Reno to the other dealership

You guys had my truck for over two weeks, im not sure if the work was actually done, the first quote was 1038.00 then my next quote was 2300.00 by the time I picked my truck up it went to 2800. When I dropped my truck the engine light was not on. Three days later my engine light is on. Now I have to take to another dealer, so I wouldn't recommend this dealership to anyone.

On 11-14-2025 I brought my vehicle in for an oil change I informed the service advisor of a transmission fluid leak I was told that it would be checked. After the service was done, oil change tire rotation I was told I would need to get a diagnostic for the transmission. On 11-15-2025 I called and left a message for the advisor to call me back. I never received a call back. On 11-17-2025 I called again requesting a call back. I called again that afternoon since I never heard from them and talked to the service manager he told me he would call back within an hour he never called. On 11-18-2025 I called again and asked for a call back that did not come. On 11-19-2025 I got a call back from a scheduler and when I called back I transferred to someone else I left a message and still haven’t heard back from them. The service department seems to very misaligned. My new vehicle less than one year old has a transmission problem and I feel uncomfortable driving it. I brought the problem to their attention and they don’t seem to take it to seriously

2 hours for an oil changer is really bad. You should let customers know that it will be that long when they call for the appointment. I am 78 years old with heath issues. I could have been more prepared to sit in you waiting room if I had been informed. I know for my warranty I have to go to a dealership even if I don't want to. Please work on making it better.

Service department took 6 days and originally quoted $4700. I called another dealer where I bought the vehicle, and they called MH. One part was under warrantee and MH reduced bill to $1300. I also asked MH to do a PET since GM was aware of the part having problems. The service department said a PET would not cover cost. My other dealer called BS and said GM knows of the problem and would probably pay for repair. Service person said 2 others came in with same problem the week my vehicle was in the shop. Hopefully they didn’t get ripped off with the $4700 bill they tried to get me with. My vehicle only had 80k on it.

I have a 100k bumper-to-bumper Zurich warranty, but have to bring my copy to convince the techs each visit. Also, I brought the truck in to replace a TPMS sensor in July, and knowing the others would soon follow, requested replacement of all four. Was told the warranty would only replace the faulty one, so ended up making 3 more service visits between Aug. & Nov. to replace the rest. SERVICE is the wrong word.

The salesman was excellent, but your fast talking sales manager was the downside. Why is it when you discuss the deal in detail with the salesman, build a trust and then he walks out and some other person walks in and starts trying to discuss things that aren’t even relevant to the sale? Almost walked out at that point, but instead I stopped him, said slow down and send the salesman back in. He just ruined the whole experience. Again salesman excellent but sales manager sucked. Finance guy was great also.

I purchased the auto butler ceramic coating when I bought my new truck. 6 months went by and was time to bring it in for the service. This is a brand new Chevy truck. When the truck was washed it got scratched on both front and rear bumpers. As well as swirl makes all over the doors and the painted panels. You do not use brushes to wash cars. The truck is still dirty as well and you do not put ceramic coating over a dirty vehicle. Everytime I come in for service it is nothing but a joke and problems and you damage my truck. By far the worst Chevy service and dealership in northern Nevada.

I drop off at 9:00am I told I was going to wait just needed oil change and a wash. At 1:30 I ran out of things to do. They were supposed to call me when it was done it was sitting in the pick-up lot no one called me could have been doing more important things. That is just rude 4 and half hours.no one said they were sorry they acted put out that they had to give my keys and show me where my truck was parked like this was my fault. They didn't even go over what was done.

Absolutely horrible. When the appointment (8:15AM) was made, I clearly requested for a ride. But the dealership said that the ride is not ready and I had to wait for an hour. So I had to walk 4 miles to get back to my work. The dealership did not contacted me (until 5:15PM) when the car was ready even though I said that I need my car since I live in Reno. I do not believe a basic check up would require my car to be in the dealership for the whole day. The only reason I take my car here for a service is because I want my car to be services during my work. It is very disappointing how poorly the service department is operating.

I was slightly annoyed There was nobody available to shuttle anyone home. Myself and another person waited almost an hour for someone to show up to take us home then when that time came, he was only taking one person at a time. I wasn’t about to wait there another 45 minutes, so I called a cab. The other issue needs not even be mentioned, and that’s because Chris my service writer is quite possibly one of the best in that position that I’ve ever worked with. He was able to fix every problem without me even voicing concern about it. I’m sure if I would’ve mentioned about the shuttle driver he probably would’ve taken me himself. Do not lose him. As far as waiting rooms and customer areas, I know the building is old, but for a GMC CADILLAC dealer it really needs to be stepped up. Sitting in clapped out office chairs, and offered stale popcorn isn’t what customers want. It’s not a tire shop chain. As much as it pains me to say it, send someone over to that Toyota waiting area. I know I sound like I’m complaining and I don’t mean to, but when most of the cars on the lot are 90+ thousand dollars you just start to expect more.

I dropped the vehicle off an hour early and the shop was able to start the work then. The shop texted me about extra work (engine and cabin filters) needing to be done which I authorized. This only took about 20 minutes longer than the original estimate. Overall, I was satisfied with the experience.

I had several challenges during my recent service appointment. I was not provided a written estimate and was surprised by a charge on my bill foe the TPMS diagnosis/reset. I also left with a tire that would not accept air and was only left with 23psi when I left the service bay. I returned immediately and they were not able to fix the issue in the remaining service window, I was not comfortable driving it any distance. They had my truck for 8 hours for an oil change, tire rotation and air filter change. They did not reset the dash controls for oil life or air filter life.

My truck had to be towed from Tahoe to Michael Hohl when what I thought was the body control module went out. It turned out to be that the software needed to be totally reset, not sure how or why this occurred? Alex in service dept was thorough and very professional in keeping me updated on the status. The truck was completely shut down, inoperable. I expected a lengthy repair time but it was done in a day. The cost was just $225 for labor and no parts. I am grateful to Michael Hohl Chevrolet for getting me back in my truck.
