The sedan has been a part of Cadillac’s legacy since the beginning. It is something we uphold for generations, no matter how they are shaped, their ultimate purpose, or the names they carried – DeVille, Fleetwood, Seville, CTS, and so forth.

Today, the Cadillac sedan is offered in two main forms: the 2026 CT4 and the 2026 CT5. Each of them offers an experience that is uniquely Cadillac with two different approaches.

As our smallest sedan, the 2026 CT4 offers a perfect mix of sport and luxury. Its size lends to its nimbleness on the road, taking on mountain highways with inherent confidence.

Standard on the 2026 CT4 is a 237-horsepower 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine. It is powerful, yet efficient with an EPA rated 32 MPG on the highway. You can step up to the 310-horspower 2.7-iter dual-volute turbocharged V6 with 350 pound-feet of torque. It is also rated for the 0-to-60 MPH sprint in 4.8 seconds. You can order your CT4 with all-wheel drive for year-round traction.

If you want the same mix of sport and luxury in a larger size, the 2026 CT5 fits the bill. You have a choice of power between the 237-horsepower twin-scroll turbocharged 2.0-liter engine or the 335-horsepower twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter V6. It also offers the option of all-wheel drive, while providing you with cabin space to stretch out on the highway. The CT5 comes with the 33-inch Horizon Display with informative and interactive screens making the drive easy.

Each of these two sedans offer two levels of performance beyond the standard specification. The 2026 CT4-V and CT5-V offers exceptional road manners that will excite the soul. The 2026 CT4-V is powered by a 325-horsepower version of the turbocharged 2.7-liter V6. The 2026 CT5-V also adds more excitement with its 360-horsepower twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter V6.

Both V-models can be taken a step further with their available Blackwing guises, which represent the most driver-focused Cadillac road cars ever built. The 2026 CT4-V Blackwing is motivated by a 472-horsepower twin-turbocharged 3.6-liter V6 connected to a six-speed manual transmission. A set of Brembo brakes and other performance-oriented enhancements make the 2026 CT4-V Blackwing a desirable track weapon.

Then, there is the ultimate performance Cadillac – the 2026 CT5-V Blackwing. This is the car that inspired the Cadillac’s brand’s entry into motorsports on the IMSA, FIA World Endurance Championship and Formula 1 circuits. The 668-horsepower supercharged 6.2-liter V8 and standard six-speed manual transmission puts this in rarified air as the performance sedan of choice for the enthusiast. Which is why it earned a sport on Car and Driver’s 10Best list for 2026.
